Not bad though is it, if people are booking you after only 18 months?

I've only got like 2 promotoers who come to me, it's not like all of London are clambering for me, but it is nice. Still need to make the calls.
Very early stages but there is talk of me and one of them organising our own open mic night.

Yep, it's a wierd contradiction, standing up in front of strangers and making them laugh no problem, phoning a promoter, abosolutley hate it

Nice, let us know how you get on.
You need an Agent.

I know what you mean. I shout at my sales staff to get on the phone. But personally I hate it. I do my selling at work by sending out emails and flyers then "selling" when people call me.
I don't see why you can't do the same - you are after all selling. Just selling you.

This is good advice I think.

But Tim now we're both doctors. We can go anywhere we want while acting and looking eccentric with the wave and a 'don't mind me I'm a (the) doctor".

Yes, I find "accidentally" letting slip that I'm a doctor often helps me to secure a good table at a restaurant or a front row seat at a strip club (or preferrential treatment for my head injury in a neurosurgical unit, of course... Damn! >_<
I'll have to see if anyone took a pic of me in my Doctor Who costume...

Not that weird. People who've consciously come to see you vs. talking yourself up to a promoter.

You look like John Culshaw playing Tom Baker.
We have Windows 7 in da house yet to play on it though. My verdict tomorreee.
Looking good Curt, although I have to agree with Aaron.
And in a bizarre coincidence, I installed the final version of Windows 7 on my PC today. I love a clean install, but I don't like messing it up with programs!
I've been meaning to do it for last month. Let us know how it performs.
I've not found any conflicts with programs on the upgrade install. The other day when I suddenly thought Windows 7 was probably going to go all "Microsoft" on me (whilst trying to actively run three programs plus do a background virus sweep) it didn't. I was frankly stunned. It's been plain-sailing so far. And Windows 7 does actually seem to have a f**king clue what else is going on around your computer, unlike Vista (which always seemed outraged that non-Microsoft software was even present).
