Whether knighting is right or wrong (I'm not getting into a discussion about it) but when you read about the amount of people who get knighted (people like Trevor Brooking for instance), then why on earth hasn't Bruce been knighted. He's entertained this nation for over fifty years, he really should be knighted. Please discuss.
Bruce Forsyth - Why hasn't he been Knighted?
Because he is a complete racist and should have been shot.
(Kidding honest guv).
Yes, that was a stupid thing for him to have said a few weeks ago, but a complete racist is a bit harsh. But he has been brilliant over the last fifty years.
Kidding! I bet he's said something that pissed GordyB off and that was that for his knighthood.
There's no logic to who gets knighted.
Two Manchester United managers get it for winning the European cup only once when Brian Clough (twice) and Bob Paisley (three times) never get considered.
And they always give some lollypop lady an OBE, it's like the law or something.

No chance, the honours system is too class conscious for that, it is the MBE tops for lollipop ladies.
They used have something called the British Empire Medal, which would always awarded to some poor schmuck who had spent forty years working in a sub post office Droitwich. It was like having the Queen pointing at you and laughing for wasting your life.
It's because the Queen can't bestow another honour on a subject withing 5 years of that person receiving a previous award (he got an OBE in 2006).
Because he is a racist and doddery, had numerous affairs and a miserable old twat off camera.
Alao, how can you knight somebody who has just fiddled with cards and conveyor belts as a living?
She's the queen she can do what the Blue Jazz she likes.
My old boss got the LVO - Lieutenant of the Victorian Order.
Apparently it's one actually bestowed by the Queen and non-political. He was so proud.
Maybe he said to the Queen "You didn't laugh much, you sour-faced c**t. You sour-faced c**t, you didn't laugh...?" during the backstage line-up after the Royal Variety Performance one year? We've really no way of knowing that he didn't.
He is already the Lord of The Chin. In my heart. At the very least.

Bruce Campbell can give him a run for his money.
I admire more the people who refuse to have knighthoods, so desperate, charity obsessed brown nosers like Brucey would do well to take a leaf out of the books of folk like Albert Finney, David Bowie and all those others who have quietly said 'No thanks, fine as I am.'
The Hons system is HEAVILY politicised and sometimes a complete farce, as in that Scotch bike rider who got one -eh???!!!
