That'd be a treat.

Quote: DaButt @ October 29 2009, 11:58 PM BSTI'd like to make it there, but I'm not sure it's possible that close to Christmas. I'll see what I can do.
That would be super groovy if you could make it DaButt. Let me know if it's a definite and I'll add you to the list.
Plus, there are several people who want to pay you back for the drinks at the last Meet Up. So you probably wouldn't have to put your hand in your pocket all night. (put in obigatory pocket pool joke here)
I put my hand in my pocket and then surreptitiously sniff it all the time, but I wouldn't do so in such esteemed company.
I'll make it out there within the next year-ish; I just need to make sure it doesn't conflict with work, my family obligations or the conditions of my parole.
There'll probably be a 'proper', official meet some months into the new year. Say ... April? May? Something like that. Perhaps both you and AndreaLynne could make that one.

Will this one be for the launch of the new site?
*shrug*
I keep hoping that a meet-up will coincide with friends' bands' tours so that I could justify the travel, but nothing has meshed yet. I've been known to make hasty travel decisions in the past, so I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later.
With any luck I'll be married to Sooty, RC or Andie a year from now ...

Or maybe all three. You are a mormon right?

Yes.

Ooh! Ooh! Pick me!
I'd love to live in America again and I can field strip and clean an AK 47. Though you'll have to clean the AR's, I find their direct impingement gas system a bugger to keep carbon free.
Swoon. How can I say no to RC?
I've read that some new AR rifles have a piston system. Sounds intriguing.

Ruger's latest, the SR 556 has been the first to be produced as piston only, all the other AR manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon by having a piston option along with their D.I. rifles.

You seem to know an unhealthy amount about guns.
Watch him next meet up if he's got that long leather coat on.
