I used to be scared of the bath, a) because when the last of the water drained away it made a horrible loud noise, and b) my dad once said if I didn't get out of the bath quick I'd get sucked down the hole. :(

Thank you.

I'm one of those people who aren't normally allowed to moan, having to be cheerful for everyone else and helping with their problems. But I'm beginning to think f**k it, and want to rant too.

Any idea why?

I used to think it's the gurgle at the end when all the water goes down. He was also given a bath recently by my mother-in-law and she had the water way too hot. I think it's most likely the latter. :(

I suffer from depression and just trying to deal with some of the horrible things that can happen in life, without a lot of optimism.

Ah. Sounds quite like me then. I find myself pondering more and more of late.

Did you get Hancock in the Colonies?

(Excepting Australia that is who obviously did.)

I shouldn't laugh.

Better keep any re-runs of Jaws off the TV for a while then. ;)

IIRC Oldrocker, part of the reason for the move to film and the break with G&S was a desire to break into the American market.

Just wish I could change certain things.

Yeah, it's not much fun having elderly parents sometimes.

:) I do have a good GP and I'm looking for a good therapist. :) Just wish I could change certain things and like myself a bit more.

Good. Hope you are able to feel better soon. Hug

I am officially a working writer now. Sent my first piece out today!!!

Laughing out loud

MARK: The shark's not actually called 'Jaws', Jeremy.

JEREMY: Of course he is. They're on a boat, they're hunting 'Jaws'. 'Jaws' the shark.

:)

I was actually thinking of the scene in Vicar of Dibley when they are playing charades and Alice is holding the jars as her clue to the name of a movie. Watched it with my mom. She thought that was a good clue. Errr

I just realized that I've never got into a real argument with anyone on here...
