I think I'll be leaving now too. The Mom shift starts pretty early 'round these parts. Everyone have a lovely night!
Night night/bye bye Page 324
Goodnight all. Gonna watch a little more of Tony Bourdain's travels in Romania before retiring.
Quote: Tim Walker @ October 27 2009, 3:12 AM BSTTime for bed. Off to London for meetings tomorrow.
It's grey and damp in London today, but quite mild.

Cheers, Dolly. Have brolly, will travel. One meeting at the very plush looking Saint Georges Hotel near Regent's Park (used to be where my old hospital/medical school lived before the 1970s).
What sorting of meeting Tim? If you don't mind me asking. Funny stuff, or boring work stuff?

Meeting with my agents and a couple with producers. One of whom I've no idea why he wants to see me. For one thing he works in Scotland.

Don't forget to go into the park and have a rant at the wolves in the rain.

He may have another HQ in London.
I think they have comedy in Scotland too if I'm not mistaken.
*checks*
Yep, lots of it. There's even a festival.
Cool stuff. Best of luck Tim Tim, blow their collective socks off. Or failing that, blow.. well, you get the idea.
*goes to work*

I shall do my very best (sober) Withnail.

He's from The Comedy Unit, which I admit I don't know a huge amount about.

Ah, good, that'll help then. It's nice to have some background info.

Cheers, matey. Saying that my knees are feeling a bit sore this week...

Yeah, I'm sure they have a base in London too now.
Cool. Gotta go.
How'd it go Tim?
Tiring day, but good thanks, Nil. New script has gone down very well and a few really positive meetings. Part of today was about getting on to the writing teams for other shows, whilst plugging-on with my own stuff. Can't say much more at present, but one of the jobs involves writing for Billie Piper.
The guys from The Comedy Unit were really lovely to meet, though it was a fairly brief meeting as they had to catch a plane back to Glasgow fairy urgently. (Think they were suffering deep-fried saturated fats withdrawal symptoms.)

Excellent. Tim Walker + Billie Piper can only mean new Secret Diary Of A Call Girl where Billie sniffs various pictures of people she's met on the internet for sexual gratification. Can't wait.
*makes note of Nil's idea*
