I'm in Horsham. It's a suburb of Philadelphia.

The real Horsham is, of course, a town in West Sussex. Probably Philly is a bit bigger and rougher.

It doesn't mean anything to Americans, but I'll bet that UK visitors get a laugh when they see the welcoming signs from Philadelphia Mayor Nutter at the airport.

:D

We've got a Nutter for a Mayor in London. Big, loveable Boris. :)

I've been to Horsham, PA. I have ex relatives there.

I'm pretty sure I passed through there on my trip to Camber Sands. I know I've been to the Cheltenham in England and the Cheltenham that's also part of Philadelphia.

The directions to the beer store included "Turn left on Street Road." I was hoping there would also be a "Road Street."

Ah, Camber Sands the wife-swapping capital of England.

It could be something to do with memory or sommink? But apart from selecting different windows in the task bar, I used to find switching between a bit of a pain. It would stall/hang, or close down. If it was a heavy app, you would regret accidentally clicking on that one when you meant for another one, and have to wait for it to load, before you can click away. I dunno, like I said, probably memory issues, but I doubt it because I've also experienced on new computers too.

Ah right. Yeah, that's a combination of memory, processor, and the number of programs running.

In Mac, you point the mouse towards the corner of the screen and it shows all open windows, smoothly without hesitation. It's not a big thing, but it's a little thing that makes computing less painful.

Without seeing it to check, that sounds rather similar to a new feature in Windows 7. Which I find to be totally pointless, if not bloody annoying at times.

Really? All I saw were indie kids. (It was one of those All Tomorrow's Parties festivals 7 or 8 years ago.)

I'd gladly swap my ex-wife for a newer model. Or a better model. Or any model whatsoever.

Really?

I dunno. Laughing out loud

I remember someone who looked like Rosemary West telling me they went there, so I made that up.

You backed-up Rose West's alibi? :O

I said she was a murdering rapey c**t, so I think I'm alright.

Robyn will be very glad when reading week means a few days of not having to get up quite so early.

Ellie has been trying to avoid using her oyster card as she is VERY VERY broke... so is walking a good 6 miles every day.

Off to the Michael Jackson 'This Is It' premiere tonight.

My train home goes to the Horsham in England. Why does this make the world feel smaller?

Elliot has one more essay to write before he is free-ish.

I was going to say that I can get a train to Horsham to yours. :$

Robyn just finished reading Hanif Kureshi's fantastic book, and now needs to read about Browning. She is also glad that Elliot will be done soon-ish. Pleased
