All those black n white photos n the writers directory, what do they think it is, some sort or noir fashion show? Rolling eyes

Nah, mine's just ugly. ;)

Sorry Aaron, did I break up your uber-reply post.

Not at all. :)

As for W7, hard to tell how it'll fare on long-term use (re: user maintenance). I suspect it'll do better, but of course as with any other computer sytem it largely depends on the individual user.

I hope they've finally clicked into designing it to run several programs at once, in a kind of nice *without thinking about it* kind of way. Sorry, not feeling very technical minded today :S I hope that makes since.

It's one of the first things I noticed using a Mac, is the ease of swapping between applications. If W7 has developed a similar or better way, then great, it will win lots of plus points with me. I'm ignoring the odd 3D cascading effect it had in Vista, it kind of worked, but didn't seem to make transitions any faster.

AND... what new laptop you got then? Linkies? :D

I don't have an annoying face do I? Teary

I can't say I've ever had a problem running or switching between multiple programs. What is it you're referring to?

New laptop.

It could be something to do with memory or sommink? But apart from selecting different windows in the task bar, I used to find switching between a bit of a pain. It would stall/hang, or close down. If it was a heavy app, you would regret accidentally clicking on that one when you meant for another one, and have to wait for it to load, before you can click away. I dunno, like I said, probably memory issues, but I doubt it because I've also experienced on new computers too.

In Mac, you point the mouse towards the corner of the screen and it shows all open windows, smoothly without hesitation. It's not a big thing, but it's a little thing that makes computing less painful.

Today the elastic on my boxer shorts went while I was in town. Was a nightmare, I could feel them down near my knees. I was walking like one of those punks on the Boosh.

Also Laughing out loud!

Hi Robyn! How are you?

Hi Ben! I'm not too bad. I just wrote an essay on language "hooking" onto the world, and need to cut some words from it (surprise, surprise) but am okay! You? Pleased

Oh, apart from the coin conspiracy!
