Conservative! Has a big C!
Green Tea Page 9
Hot, moist and very tasty. We are still talking about Green Tea, right?
Yep right!
It also has a big T too!
Quote: ajp29 @ September 25, 2007, 4:17 PMI feel this is an argument that I won't win, weird suddenly I feel very much like a conservative
Yes, the PR people have been a bit shit recently.
Quote: Frankie Rage @ September 25, 2007, 4:27 PMConservative! Has a big C!
Unless he's talking about the general political inclination (ie sanity), rather than the party. But I suspect the uneducated left-wing fool is referring to the party.
There are two strands to any argument about Conservatism. The economic argument and the moral argument.
Which shall we discuss first?
Regarding the invisible man's effluvia - if it is invisible before it is 'airborne', then it surely must remain so.
He could come on any one of us without us knowing.

Sorry Frankie you're right, I did mean C**tservative

Surely you would feel the substance unless it is undetectable by more senses. Nice thought though

Come on then, what is/are your objection(s)?
Quote: Aaron @ September 26, 2007, 10:43 AMCome on then, what is/are your objection(s)?
Theres not enough room on the internet to list them but i'd have to say fundamentally the Conservatives attitude to help themselves at the expense of others. E.g. Taxes

In that sentence you can delete 'Conservatives' and insert 'Politicians'. I have lived under both shabby colours!
The question is, who bleeds us most or is it even-stevens overall?
Here's a shabby one for you:
"UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for a UN Security Council meeting on Burma within hours... ...He vowed there would be "no impunity" for human rights violators".
All well and good... and Zimbabwe?
Politicians say whatever is expedient at the time.. always..
Zimbabwe?
Try also
Iraq
Israel
China
Congo
Turkey
Saudi
korea
yemen
USA
etc

I don't anyone could seriously argue that F. Rage is left wing – have you ever read any of his posts? He appears to be a racist with part-formed vigilante inclinations.

Aaron was talking about me being a left-wing uneducated fool not Frankie. I would say Frankie's probably more in the middle although my testicles would say hes prety right wing from all the hanging he has thrust upon them.
Going back to the green tea - is the invisible man referred to differently as he goes through life - 'the invisible young man', 'the invisible old man' etc? I'm not sure I'm comfortable with an invisible old man.
Invisible or not, if I can get a rope around his neck...

Appearance is often what you want to see Godot. If you'd care to provide your definition of what a racist is then I'd be interested to see if I stack up to be a racist (by your definition). I do not consider myself a racist by my own definition.

I would say that I was left wing but have moved towards the centre. I have both left wing and right wing views, depending on the subject. I am also very wary of both the far left and the far right in equal measure...
Believe it or not the hanging thing wrt to AJP's testicles was a joke. I do however believe in capital punishment for some crimes (I guess that would be a right wing view, eh?) and I am prepared to debate that one against any of the puerile liberal arguments that typical PC lefties tend to regurgitate up every time they are faced with the topic!
