I have to keep my style in check though, Rubes. I can't use "can't" or "don't" or "shouldn't".

How much leeway do they give you? We had 10%, so if yours is somewhere near that that's 50 words taken care of at least.

Final Draft crashed and lost my work for the last time today. I'm going out.

Final Draft: The Buggy Edition.

See previous additions:

If it was on word Gav there should be a recovery copy.

We had 20% which was rather cool but they were hot on plagurism at my uni so you still have to be sooo careful not to do it by accident.

I suggest Scats remove all her references to her outrageous right-wing anti-Semitic hating and leave that kind of stuff for her blog. ;)

It was my rampant Socialist-bashing this time.

You mean you're not? :O

Hug Robyn.

I have finished a draft of one essay and will be moving onto writing another one soon. I am feeling a little tired but I've got to hope I do not end up as tired as yesterday.

Yes, Yes. Well you get these "Professional" pieces of software and expect them to function correctly not having to save your work every 6minutes. I normally do it in word first then paste into Final draft n reformat.

Word up Elliot is in the house.

Hiiii Gavin!

Sorry to hear about your computer issues. It still strikes me sometimes how poor most computers are. I guess we all expect more from them than they are capable of. Silly expectations like them doing exactly what they promise.

Packing for this afternoon's flight to Philadelphia. I'm trying to fit everything into one carry-on bag, despite the fact that my employer will pay for any excess baggage fees. Oh well, it'll make me feel a little better about charging expensive airport beers to the company.

LOL! Cool Cool

Tim can report that Windows 7 is proving lovely to use so far. Too early to say that Microsoft may have got this one right, but everything seems to work, and work very quickly and slickly at that. My laptop seems to be literally skipping around happily, after groaning under the weight of Vista for so long. They definitely have produced a system which isn't constantly demanding more and more RAM. :)
