That wasn't ever shown here though was it? How would we know? :)

Yes. Yes it was. It was shown over here. Yes it was. Yes. You're just too young. Bloody youth of today. People of my generation had to watch this shit so you could have your trendy "hip" and "cool" Lunch Monkeys, you know! Angry

Ooooooooooooooooh.
Sorry uncle Tim.
:)

Well I'm younger than both of you and I remember watching it.

I should think so too. We also had to watch The Fall Guy so you lot could have the freedom to watch your Balls Of Steel. :( Angry :S ;)

Ohhhhh, was it on one of your fancy Sky channels?

We weren't all rich y'know!

I think we had a chipped Sky receiver when I was a kid , I remember some of those German channels Lovey

Tim makes a good point.
TV is much better now, it used to be a real struggle to find some comedy that you hated, but nowadays there's plenty.

And lot's more to appreciate I hasten to add.

:O

An ex-boyfriend's dad was a look-alike of Mr Roarke. When my cousin was about six he had a little white suit and my brother nicknamed him Tattoo.

(of course this will only make sense if you remember the show)

It was on ITV. (None of this "ITV1" rubbish. There was only one ITV in those days. And we didn't have any shoes neither!)

Well you would say that, Jimmy Tarbuck!

It can't have beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen.

When are you pretending it was on then? :)

Now I realise that this thread is not about the sales of Soup.
I'd like to tell Andrea not to blame herself.
:)

Aww I loved The Fall Guy. And not just for Heather Thomas.

That wouldn't have been Sky.

Well you would say that, Jimmy Tarbuck!

You forget that in the good old days, come Sunday night we could turn on to ITV and watch Jimmy Tarbuck hosting Live At The London Palladium. And Tommy Cooper would come on and have a heart attack and collapse on stage, heaving his dying breaths whilst the audience laughed.

You don't get that kind of entertainment with your Justin Lee Collins and your Vernon Kays! Angry
