:O Angry

*bangs head repeatedly against wall in padded cell*

:(

I like the silly threads, where you can have a laugh.
(and have been guilty of trying to start one or two)
There was one where you'd combine two movies or something which was quite fun, but I can't remember what it was called.
And I like Kevins Crossword ones as well, very clever.

Ignored again (just kidding)

Is there a thread for people who want to take a break but don't want to make a new thread about it?

Eh? Going away, you mean? Possibly the 'Night-Night. Bye-Bye' thread? :)

I still haven't got round to starting one like that. It's about time I did one with ambigious cryptic allusions that I've either got far more important real problems to deal with, have been offered a really good job that's hush-hush, or I'm off to slit my wrists, when in reality I'm off Lanzarote for a couple of weeks.

I just wanted to spend a bit more time with a pen & paper & actually try to write some stuff.
This forum is far too addictive.
Everyone should have a little break if they need it.

I did enjoy those jousts between Monsieur Rene(gade) Carpark and Dolly Dagger.

RENE: Have you seen the Madonna with the big boobies?

MADAM DAGGER: Me and my friends were never really into Madonna actually, we preferred Paul Weller, Depeche Mode and the Jesus and Mary Chain. Anyway, what's wrong with Madonna being sexy at 50? Are you saying women are washed up at the age of 25? Etc., etc.

;)

There's just such a lack of respect for those older and wiser... :(

(btw I spent the 80s mostly listening to stuff from the 60s and 70s.)

The only way to survive that grim decade.

I don't understand the current love for 80s music; most of it was bad. Duran Duran seen now as the Stones of the 80s? Pah.
