Andie's Apologies for Jinxing Poor Soupy Sales

A while back I made a comment on Soupy Sales being dead. Turns out he wasn't. Now he is and I feel awful. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am now responsible for the deaths of Soupy Sales, Ricardo Montalbán, and Betty Page. I questioned their deaths only weeks before they actually died. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I did mention Doris Day the other day...we'll just have to wait and see... Teary

I killed Patrick Swayze in my mind just before he died.

I don't know who Soupy Sales is, but I'm sure he or she forgives you.

He was the comedian who was always getting a pie in the face.

Too late, I already scolded you here:

But this is my chance to apologize.

Ricardo Montalbán

Who?

I can understand Soupy Sales, but Khan?!? How can you not remember him???

Khan? Eh? :S

Star Trek? The second movie??

Oh never mind.

He was an actor from classic Hollywood, who was also known for his coffee commercials and Fantasy Island.

Nope. Never heard of him or it. And I certainly haven't seen any Star Trek.

How many ears does Spock have? 3 - left ear, right ear, final front ear.

Come on, Aaron, you have no concept of Fantasy Island? Possible one of the most absurd and terrible, yet strangely good and watchable TV shows ever.

You know the dwarf who shouted "Boss! The plane! The plane!". Well, Ricardo Montalban played the boss. (The dwarf was played by Herve Villechaize, who was in 'The Man With The Golden Gun' and had about a five second cameo in 'Airplane'. Killed himself aged 50 in 1993.)

Fantasy Island

That wasn't ever shown here though was it? How would we know? :)

Because we are all suckers for pop culture references!
