But my 'spot the difference' mailings are legendary in the industry!

Quote: dannyjb1 @ October 23 2009, 1:59 PM BSTActually know someone (from these very boards) who accidently sent off there shopping list in with a script, best part of the story is they got feedback on the shopping list (AND an option on the script but the feedback is better).
- was that a certain lovely dark-haired lady?
Just to offer a different slant; this is my take on things...
Sending emails? Sending stuff in the post? Forget it, you need to think bigger.
Think about Bud Fox in 'Wall Street', and how he negotiated his way into Gordon Gekko's office.
Remember, there are two major battles in this industry: 1) To write something great, and 2) To get it read.
Do not play by the rules. I've lied and cheated my way through (business) life, but it's worked for me: I'm thirty-two years old and a millionaire. I'm not necessarily proud to admit that; but I'm certainly not ashamed either.
People often say 'cheating never pays'. It does; it's paid for my snooker and billiards room, for one.
I guess, in short, all I'm saying is that sometimes it's worthwhile thinking outside of the box; taking a risk. If that involves being a little underhand on occasion, so be it.

Are you a real person, or another one of these 'character' folk?
