DVD/Sitcom Recommendations!

I used up all the free DVD rental trials years ago. But pleasantly got an email informing me of a new one - http://www.lidlmovies.co.uk/

Anyone like to recommend any DVDs of films or sitcoms to rent?

Normally I wouldn't have a problem thinking up some for myself, but whenever I'm presented with a search engine, I can never remember anything I wanted to search for :$

:)

Fritzii seems to harp on about Mad Men being brilliant give that a go? Was enough to convince me to check it out so...

Did you like it?

I was going to watch that when BBC2 started showing it, but it was on every night! Couldn't be arsed to keep up with that.

Will check it out though, thanks!

EDIT: It's not in their library.

You could check out Newman Vol.1...Oh wait I not finished that yet...Darn.

How about Venture Bros?

I think that's on TV quite a bit? But might as well add it to the list anyway (get my moneys worth) Whistling nnocently

uhhhhh Lemme think.

Band of Brother? It's meant to be good, not got round to watching it all yet.

I watched the first series. It was good, but I ain't that fussed about returning to it.

Both top notch Leevil.
-Band of Brothers is my favourite war anything (movie or TV show). Seriously worth watching.
-Venture Bros: The first season isn't the most funny thing you'll ever see but its still good and will reward you with infinite inside jokes for seasons 2 and up. It is has been the best cartoon on television for a few years now.

Ah, Band of Brothers. Another superb HBO drama.

Amen to Band of Brothers - amazing stuff. And of course The Wire if you haven't seen it yet. The Shield and Dexter are a lot of fun too.

Sadly Venture Brothers isn't available to buy or rent in the UK.

:O Blasphemy!
P.S. Dexter is can't miss TV. Especially the first two seasons. Edge of your seat stuff!

Mad Men is another superb recent US drama. Tuck in!

Dexter is ace, one of my favourites!

I've tried to watch the Wire a few times. I don't get it. I watched the first series of The Shield, don't feel the need to watch anymore.

Cheers though guys.

Was actually hoping for British sitcoms suggestions/ half-hour sitcoms :D
