Nick Griffin on Question Time Page 16

Bloody enjoyed that. Best. Question. Time. Ever.

First time I ever saw QT without the nagging feeling that all of the big players are in collusion. Really brought a lot of issues to the fore and scratched a few raw nerves.

Labour must have loved it too, first time they've been on the show in months and no one asked about their theiving MPs stealing our tax money to hire illegal cleaners and build duck islands and whatnot.

Hope they can get Osama Bin Laden soon, that would be cool.

Dolly is no Mo and you're un licensed.

You take away my identity what do I have left damn you!
I'm just a hollow shell of a man who has no more means of taking the piss out of himself - can you live with that?

Oh gawd.
Yes, I am aware of these things you say.
Thank you ever so much but I am not as retarded as you seem to imagine. :)

Of course you're not...

Errr

:P

That was the kind of hostile episode I was looking for. Great stuff. Griffin was shown to what he really is- a complete twat. He just contradicted himself and came up with stupid comments endlessly. For example, trying to undermine Jack Straw with what each of there fathers were doing in World War 2. Surely to goodness, if Griffin had a brain, he would have mentioned to Straw the comments he made about veils a couple of years ago as Straw was using plenty of examples of when Griffin was being racist. Furthermore, did he say something on the lines of the Ku Klux Klan aren't racist or violent or something stupid like that.
I quite liked that Liberal politician on it yet that playwright was definetly the best on the panal.
Oh and applause to that fellow in the audience who called him Dick Griffin.

The flag has been around for centuries, the cross on first aid kits are only there due to the English flag...

Errr

Well technically, the original medical red cross was a white cross on a red background and was sported by the Poor Knights of St. John or the Hospitallers as they were also known. The English flag is derived from the Knights Templar which had a red cross on a white background.

In Muslim countries, the 'Red Cross' is replaced by the 'Red Crescent'.

And they've been known to use their ambulances to ferry fighters and ammunition. Angry

I'd be surprised if we don't do the same or similar.

And dead children killed by American bombs dropped by Israeli pilots. :P

*I'm just being fecisious - I wish the entire Middle East, both Muslim and Jew could live in harmony - and if they don't, we should bomb their crappy countries until the sand turns to glass.*

Another annoying factor about Griffin tonight was that on numerous occasions, he commented on how 'The BNP was a racist party when he took over yet he has transformed it so it isn't now' So this means that Nick Griffin joined a racist party, doesn't this make him a racist.

No, we don't. That's one of the reasons it's so dangerous to fly medevac helicopters in Afghanistan. The enemy know that they are unarmed.

Right-wing "patriots", of course, often manage to not only to selectively quote British history, they quite often get their facts wrong when doing so.

It's not my fault that I've such a poor memory!

Sorry, the Knights of St. John (The Hospitallers) wore a white cross on a black background. As you say, it was Templers who wore red on white, but while the Cross of St. George might share a common origin, I doubt it is derived from The Templers. IIRC the Red Cross was founded after the Battle of Magenta, and the flag was an inversion of the Swiss flag.

Fair enough. What I was getting at is I reckon our intelligence agencies use relief efforts as cover. I may believe this because of that movie Spy Game, but it seems a reasonable idea.

We are f**ked.
I can't believe I'm hearing people say the national front 2.0 have some good policies.
I'm off to watch south park.

HATE ON HATERS!!!!

Like yourself?

The Tory woman has won the "who's got the biggest poppy" battle.

She's really bloody annoying.

Right, now that episode really was pointless. It was basically just a group of people screaming RACIST! at Nick Griffin while he sat there and grinned. Nothing constructive in there at all. None of the people on that panel even tried to take him on, every point Nick made (on the very few occasions he was actually allowed to speak) was met with "Yeah but you're racist", even the really stupid stuff he said which could have easily been defeated. They didn't seem to go in there wanting to show him up for what he is by having a civilised discusion, they all just wanted to shout at him so the public would like them.
