The English should f**k off back to where they came from and give it back to the Scottish, Welsh and Cornish.

No, according to the DNA bods, the English peasantry have been here just as long as the Celts - the Angles & Saxons were never more than a ruling elite. So there. :P

Iced tea? Is there no end to your perfidious ways?

Then you can build your own damn shelter. Case closed.

It's a good point.

My English friend who lives in America said that he loves the fact that they are proud to be American and you can see the flag everywhere.
The English flag is often considered racist.

I have two thoughts/opinions on this. On one hand, it's nice that we don't need to; that we have some kind of innate identification that doesn't rely on a flag or whathaveyou.

In theory.

In reality, your last sentence is spot on. And like I was saying earlier, so much of our history and heritage is being forgotten, misunderstood and misrepresented (the BNP thrive on this), that I would love to see some British - and more to the point, English - flags around more often.

I dunno about homosexuality, but Griffen's laugh is bloody creepy.

The English flag looks too much like a first aid kit. The British flag is more pretty and colourful.

A local BBQ chain has sold almost a million quart-sized "Texas Tea Buckets." It's a huge, reusable insulated drink container. They're everywhere you look.

:D

Zoo, don't you mean the first aid kit looks like the English flag?

I'm sure the flag was arounf before the little plastic box.

The Argentine flag ressembles an inflamed Smurf's anus.

Having a go at my lovely beeb, the bastard!

Say the man who has included the image of a flag at the bottom of more than 55,000 posts on this forum. ;)

I don't worry too much either about Britain not continually remembering and celebrating its past. It's important perhaps to have an awareness of the history of this island, but countries that are always harking back to their glorious pasts are perhaps not as concerned about writing the next chapters in their histories. A lack of huge regard for our past is probably healthy for our country's future.

There's a difference between a lack of regard and a total lack of awareness or understanding.

No.

The flag has been around for centuries, the cross on first aid kits are only there due to the English flag...

Errr

Oh gawd.
Yes, I am aware of these things you say.
Thank you ever so much but I am not as retarded as you seem to imagine. :)
