*strokes chin and contemplates*
Might as well, I did and never looked back.

Quote: Leevil @ October 22 2009, 12:56 PM BSTI have a cold too, but it's not bad enough to justify any medical attention, it's just bordering on annoying. Judging by my girlfriends stage, it's gonna get worse.
I've been looking after a child with a pretty bad cold and expecting to develop symtoms myself anytime soon.

Damn children and their pestilence *shakes fist*
How is your insomnia battle going Dolly? Have the Nytols done the trick? I have this problem in spells and it's really shit. You're so tired there's little point being awake cos you can't do anything or be bothered to. Nytols are great but personally I worry about becoming dependant on them.

They're anti-histamine based, so non-addictive really. So you can fill your boots, Ian.

The Child is better; I know because she's wrecking the house and poking me in the head with a straw. She doesn't gets colds often, so gets very sorry for herself when she does. Luckily she doesn't get the green bubble nose you see some kids with.
I've been sleeping okay thanks, just getting woken too early. I've been mostly taking the Nytol and I've also got some new stuff for my breathing problems which helps.

Do you think you can start becoming immune to them if you use them too much though, so you need to take more and more? I really have no idea how these things work so excuse my pig ignorance.

Yeah, I hjaven't taken them every night and don't feel I need to.

Good news! See, Tim really is useful sometimes! Seriously, glad to hear it I know what a shitter it is (though I never had it anything like as bad as you did).

To be honest, if you use them as directed, you shouldn't develop any real long-term tolerance to them. One tablet should continue to do the trick. Just don't use them when you don't need them. Common sense, really.
You want to cut down on colds, eat plenty of satsumas. You'll look cool eating one, as well.

Shit, I'm doomed then!
The reaon I wonder is that whenever I get them from the chemist I get loads of questions about how many I'll be taking and when I last bought some etc.

Yeah, I would rotate chemists if I were you. They are obliged to ask these questions, as in combination with other tablets they could potentially be used as part of a suicidal overdose. But they don't harmfully mix with normal dosages of things such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin.
