Is True Blood any good? Worth watching?

My library has finally expanded its BBC section. So, what will it be tonight...Hamish MacBeth or Monarch of the Glen? Hmm. Didn't notice the Scottish theme initially...

There's not alot of point in switching over with Freeview, either it's all complete shite or the signals so dodgy it jumps all over the place like an annoying flea

Most definitley. I'm watching it mainly because it's written by Alan Ball, who did Six Feet Under, which I loved.

Bummer. Although I've missed True Blood, so I'll probably wait for the DVD now. Unless C4 or More4 do a catch up.

I watched The Machinist again last night. Not bad, a bit slow, and I'm not entirely convinced anybody would feel that guilty about knocking down and killing a child.

I thought True Blood was terrible.

People keep comparing it favourably to Buffy so I thought I'd like it.

It's better than Buffy. But not better than a buffet.

Buffy casts a long shadow over the vampires on TV genre.

Does that have something to do with Anthony Head's big head?

Laughing out loud

Oooo. Stephen Mangan on Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
