The Unofficial BCG December Piss Up

Badge mentioned this a while ago, but there has been no official thread about it, so here be one now.

The date has been set for Saturday 12th December 2009 in That London.

The venue has been sorted - when I say venue, it's a couple of big tables booked in a pub.

It's The Enterprise Pub 38 Red Lion Street, WC1R 4PN. The nearest tube station is Holborn. http://www.the-enterprise.co.uk/

It doesn't get busy on a Saturday, so the Unofficial Meet Up can start whenever people get there.

I hope to see a lot of you then!

Please let me know if you are definitely attending, so far the list is -

Renegade Carpark
Angie Baby
Badge
sootyj
Aaron
zooo
Sammy - maybe
Steve Sunshine - the man, the myth, the legend - that's 3 for the price of 1
Johnny D
Kevin Murphy - almost certainty (hey that rhymes!)
Chappers - a possible
billwill - or he won't, fingeys crossed he shows
Yacob Wingnut

I will do my level best to get there for 5pm.

a 25-35 year old crowd,

I take it I'll not be welcome then.

Make it in Nottingham and you have a deal.

It's not Logan's Run Dolly. :D

Besides, we haven't decided if it's that pub yet, we could all end up in some dreary arsed Weatherspoons scum pit full of miserable old piss heads.

Would that make you feel more welcome? Whistling nnocently

:P ;)

Yeah, great, love to, wherever etc. :)

Probably.

*studio audience all go 'aaaahhh' in sympathy, Dolly limps off stage.*

I Teary a little in front of the television set.

Do you have any ideas Dolly? Where / when is suitable for you?

Can I put my vote in for either the 5th or the 12th?

Often pubs in the city are less busy at that time of year on Saturdays, as everyone's going up to the West End, so it might be easier to get a booking round Bank, Moorgate kinda way?

Please not 12th!

Nope. Except near my house, which wouldn't suit most people.

THe Wetherspoons in Holborn is well good. :D

Lets say the fifth, or the other one, I can do those, and it's hardly a party without stott now is it?? Isn't it? *delusional*

I think this event is going to be a complete wash-out.

How late would it be RC? Cause staying in London one night is too expensive.

swertyd can't do the 5th and neither can Simon Wright (from the Sitcom Mission). Simon was hoping to combine our unofficial drinks with some Sitcom Mission unofficial drinks and have a gigantic new writers bukkake thing.

The 4th and 11th are Fridays, which are also options.
