Mad Life Crisis.

Thanks for all your welcome notes.(ref introduction section)

For interest : Here are a couple of links to some sketches myself and my colleagues have written. We managed to drum up some interest to make a short demo. We had constraints on budget and so chose a couple of 'fillers' and extended them. We also used a 'doctors sketch' written by a couple of friends, again because we didn't need a set building.

Comments and criticism would be greatly appreciated. Its difficult to determine how it is really received because friends and family will always applaud. But I've read this forum and seen that criticism whether positibe or negative always seems to be fairly objective.

Cheers

Welcome DKMJ,

I thought it was great, especially enjoyed Aziza and Little Habiba.

Good luck with it.

Very slick matey. Be interested to hear how you went about getting these made. I make sketches myself but they don't look anywhere near as nifty as this! I've subscribed so will look forward to seeing more stuff from you.

I'd maybe have a few different sketches before you return to the 'runners' (or whatever a revisited sketch is called these days).

Not even sure if that last sentence makes any sense now...

Blessed by the 'Virgin' man himself. Your a funny dude!

Only had time to watch the first two sketches, but the bingo caller one was very funny.

Thanks, though the 'slickness' is not down to myself at all. We've been very very fortunate and lucky to get this made. You may recognise the actors (John Thomson, Justin Moorhouse and Chris Gascoyne aka Peter Barlow from Coronation St.) Chris is a very old friend and one of the writers. He showed the script to Pip Short (A director on the street) who rallied a crew together who gave a full day of their own time to filming and editing.

We did send the original script away to BBC, ITV and even Ch4 over a year ago, general response was favourable but ultimately were told that sketch shows were not required at that time.
