Thanks for posting this Loopey.

I am wondering why there are no replies.

Has anyone been to one of these?

Is this worth a day trip from the Midlands?

The only website I can find doesn't inspire confidence as it stops in 2007.

I received the info as part of a regular newsletter of events I am sent every couple of weeks. Thought I would post it up to see if there was any response.
I've never been to one but am relieved that someone replied as it was beginning to look as if my vote for myself as 'most ignored' on BSG was coming to fruition!

There have been previous posts about this group and they weren't that complimentary as I recall. Though I have no personal expereince of them.

I too, share Badge's recollection of previous comments being negative. I believe this is an event that Griff once got physically angry at.

Thanks for that Badge. It's easy to be sucked in. I was once advised to get some music industry advice by someone who had used a service he found online and got some 'very useful feedback' although they didn't take him on.
I discovered that I would be passing the registered address so decided to check them out. Found a run down empty house with stacks of post on the mat and no-one around.
Emailed them when I got home and enquired if they were still at that address and still operating. Gushing reply encouraging me to submit material and promising all sorts.
When I then said I had been to the address and what I found there, I never heard from them again.
That's one problem with the internet and one good reason for forums like this where people can share their opinions and experiences.

Detective Loopey! :)

I see TV drama potential there.

:D Perhaps we should write it together Dolly! I reckon Marc could give us some tips. Or I will go into the Private Detective business. Very reasonable rates.

Excellent idea - housewife detectives but more interesting than Rosemary and Thyme. :)

(well we could keep Rosemary in the title if you like ;) )

Actually, it was suggested to me a few weeks ago that I write something about a disabled female detective so add that to the mix and we could have something. Shame I turned it down.

Didn't you fancy doing it then, or lack of time?

It's a long story - I'll email you!

Ah, okay. :)

Dagger and Loopey sounds more like a pair of murderers on the run than quaint lady detectives.
