Words you hate Page 9

Specifically, people who say 'Pacifically'.

'The Pacific is an ocean, you twat!'

But it's hard to say with a lisp. :)

A friend of mine has a lisp, I nearly pee'd myself when she asked me to meet her at the 'Seven Sisters Service Station'

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud

As long as you didn't 'quite literally' pee yourself. Which seems to be happening a lot lately.

Angry politicians 'quite liteally' explode on a regular basis according to the local BBC news.

(P.S. BBC Local News sucks - London Tonight FTW!)

I could write a book on this, not just words but also initialisms and slang terms, here is a few of many:
LOL
Chippy
Corrie (for Coronation Street)
Ciggy
Puff
Pants (for something that is described as poor. E.g. that was pants)
Gas (an Irish word for something/somebody who is funny- he's gas)
Butty (for sandwich)

I could go on.

I never knew there was so much word hate. I like them all, because they can all be used in a good way.

I never use these, now very commonplace in Britain, American terms: puke or gross.

LOL really? All those words are gas.

'Nice' - a horrible word. :)
