Ellie, one year I bought a candy striper costume for my mother-in-law's birthday/Halloween party. Opened it up and was shocked to discover that it was a candy "stripper" costume. 
Still wore it though. Not as embarassing as the nurse costume incident, but I was voted best costume. Lotta men at that party.
