Whatca getting done Bill?

Anchient 35 year old boiler replaced by modern wall mounted thingy, two walls knocked down to make two mid sized bathrooms instead of 4 claustrophobic rooms: shower,loo,boiler/airing cupboard, bathroom. & new white loos, basins & bath & shower cubicle to replace old green 1970's suites. Extra loo fitted where boiler used to be.

New piping throughout.

= 2 to 3 weks chaos..

Cool Cool Cool

I'm intrigued by The Coronet. I must visit it one day and see what Bill's fuss is all about.

Not a lot of fuss, just no music, so you can TALK to friends, good variety of beers below £2/pint and mid quality food at reasonable prices.

Do you mean the Weatherspoon's Coronet on Holloway Road?

Yes indeed.

I must crash out byeee. cos the builders & olunbers will be back at 9am.

Ah, I've been there. It is indeed unbelieveably massive.

Unfortunately, because there was no music, it felt a bit 'cold', like drinking in a train station.

Plus some old dude insisted on talking to us about cricket.

I used to drink in the Hobgoblin just down the road - when it was student-y not the chav pit it became.

These days I try to avoid Holloway Road in the evening, far too scary.

Having said that bill, if you enjoy it, then more power to your elbow sir.

Off to bed. Wave

Lataz

So cold in office!!!!

Sitting here in my old fleece 5 sizes too big for me! At least its warm

Roobear is one step closer to getting that doggy! Need to fill out some paperwork and have a home visit.

There's an attractive young lady sitting opposite. Although she is half-Iranian so I'm keeping a close eye on her vest area. ;)

Those are not bombs.

I hope not. They're pretty big and if they go off they could do some serious damage.

Monster Munch!!!!! I'm always getting criticised for buying 'kiddie crisps' but man, do they taste the business.

As if British people don't have enough things to be snobby about.

They were rather nice, if not the healthiest thing for lunch.

I'm now topping up my vitamin D.
