Couple of Stupid Word Games

If you're going on a long car journey, have run out things to say to your partner or you're stuck in a prison cell for a crime you didn't commit - may I suggest a couple of word games that have kept me amused for literally minutes.

Word Game 1 - Poo Films

You take the title of a film and replace one word with the word 'Poo' - so 'The Empire Strikes Back' becomes 'The Empire Strikes Poo', see hilarious. It can also work with one word film titles such as - 'Ghostbusters' becoming 'Poobusters'. I hope your sides haven't split from these comedic gems.

Word Game 2 - Arse Songs

Take any song with the word 'Heart' in the title and replace it with the word 'Arse'. Such as 'Don't Go Breakin' My Arse' and 'Achy Breaky Arse'. I know, it's too funny.

Anyone else have any good word games?

I play a version of the poo game using the word 'quiche'. Currently 'Five Easy Quiches' is the reigning champion.

The Glaswegian slang for poo sounds like the 'quiche'. My dad thinks it's hilarious that I eat quiche.

I play a word game where you choose a subject and then have to find something to do with that subject for each letter of the alphabet. So if it was pop groups it would go..."Abba, Beatles, Christians..."

Thanks for that Dolly, I have played that game but with a slight twist, we choose a single letter and then we have to keep naming bands that begin with that letter until we run out.

It's a drag because two of my best friends are proper indie muse-o's and they keep naming obscure bands which I've never heard of.

They're probably cheating.

I do the "I went to the Black Market" game... where you say "I went to the black market and bought Acid" (something beginning with a) then the next person says "I went to the Black Market and bought Acid and Bombs" and so forth going through the alphabet.
