Your parents were using you as a drug mule?

By the end of the two weeks, I'd had a gut full.
*That was a poor attempt at a drug smuggling joke*
I don't do hot. I do winter.
I like extremes. Snow or hot sandy beaches.

I don't know, there's potential there...
It's already snowed in neighboring cities to Ottawa.
We're next. Goodbye summer I hardly knew ye.

Ooo, that sounds exciting!

No, it's depressing. We had a shit summer and fall has been what....two weeks before getting snow? Damn you mother nature! Damn you in the face!
Plus I haven't purchased winter tires yet.
Quote: Scatterbrained Floozy @ October 12 2009, 6:16 PM BSTThe work. I just don't feel like I can do it. I haven't a clue what I want to do for a job. Uni was always what I really wanted, but now I can't manage it seemingly.
Sounds like you are trying TOO hard. Possibly a hangover from the attitude at schools.
At a University you should work at your own pace, certainly so for your first six to nine months.

I think this is very good advice.
I've been offered two jobs today, found the perfect house, finally got all the documents to get a national insurance number and a bank account, and got my parents to agree to help me out with the deposit for renting a house.
What a morning. Looks like I'm gonna move into a new house and town, start a new job and hand in my thesis, all on the 2nd of November. Timing. I haz it.
I hope I didn't jinx it just then. Eeeep.
Oh, and , Ellie!

Congratulations Finck! Brilliant news.

Yep. I might have a spare room for you, too, so you can acclimatise to the lovely North and be nearer to your woman. I offered it to her first but she REJECTED me.

Thank you!
I'm still a bit overwhelmed. Maybe it'll all have gone to shits by the end of the day. But now, right now, is pretty damn fantastic.
Congrats Fink that's awesome!
