That was who I meant to mention - but I couldn't think of their name.

Forgiven Chappers we now know the Charleston is more your era ;)

The second sad death of the day. My Gran died today at the good old age of 84.

Sorry to hear that Jack.

I always pretended not to like Boyzone, but bought all the singles, the albums and I even bought Stephen Gatelys solo album 'New Beginning'

He was a good singer, despite the boyband tag, he had been in two west end shows in lead roles and his death has left me feeling quite sad.

It was nice to hear him mentioned on X Factor. No doubt there will be some sick jokes about now:

"So Stephen Gately's dead - What a bummer!" is just one ive already heard.

I can't see it being drink or drugs as he was well known to not drink much and not the drugs type, even if he was on drugs look at Amy Winehouse, loads of drugs and still screeching. But more likely just natural causes.

R.I.P Stephen Gately. Too young.

I've had about five or so txt jokes today.

RIP

I don't think Boyzone ever made a splash here, so I'm completely in the dark about this. But it's always sad when someone dies so young.

Condolences to Jack, too. I lost my last grandparent two months ago and I miss them all very much.

They didn't have any success at all as far as I know. Though they were popular throughout Europe and Australia.

I mus apologise for Westlife though, as the US did get a song of theirs called Swear It Again. Once again I am very sorry for the torture inflicted on US ears, though we have to put up with a new album soon :(

They were pretty crap really so you're not missing much.

Life is a rollercoaster, it's f**king scary. Maybe it was sudden death syndrome like with Marc Vivien-Foe.

Boyzone were indeed rubbish (in my opinion), mainly covers. Far as I know I don't think they wrote their own music or played instruments? Not sure.

But anyway, still sad.

The big ones at the back were alright. ;) And my nephew looks like Ronan Keating and the girls love him.
