Cheers. Can you try crossing your eyes instead?
Quote: AndreaLynne @ October 11 2009, 7:40 PM BSTJust found out that my ex's granddad, who I've come to love as my own, was admitted to a dementia ward today by his children. Something shitty always happens the day after my birthday. Glad that this year didn't disappoint.
!
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ October 11 2009, 7:41 PM BSTThat most have been tough for them to decide to do that.
Yesterday Matt (my ex) heard them all complaining how they are tired of having to keep an eye on him. Grandpa has had a lot of accidents around the house, but they've done nothing to make the house safer for him. I hope that they are doing that for him, not themselves. They are a "themselves" kind of bunch. My husband comes by his selfishness honestly.
Thanks Robyn. I'm getting tired of lousy stuff though.
*nod* I don't even think I can say "I can imagine", because I really can't - not to an adequate extent. I just really hope things pick up.

I can imagine, all too much - having a parent with a similar condition - it's not fun at all.
for Andrea.

And you don't even care about your own grandparent!
! Sorry Dolly! For you as well.
Quote: Dolly Dagger @ October 11 2009, 9:25 PM BSTAnd you don't even care about your own grandparent!
for Elliot, because I know he cares a lot, and that's why he can give experienced hugs to both of you, because he knows how necessary they are at with things like that.
Thank you.
