It really made me stop and think when I read this. If I hadn't found the breast tumor when I did, my doctor predicted that I would have probably not reached my 33rd birthday yesterday. The cancer was growing exponentially in my case. I feel very lucky to be alive and saddened to someone else go.

Funnily, my life-threatening medical emergency was when I was 32.
Very sad news. It's awful when someone dies so young.
I once had a fight with a lad who looked exactly like Stephen Gately. I was made up that I won, because he was actually a Thai boxing champion. Then again, he was half my size, so it probably wasn't that impressive really.
Anyway, I wasn't a fan of Gately, but still, dying in your sleep at 33 is a terrifying thought. My family still express their shock at my Nan dying in her sleep, 25 years ago - and she was 60.
