Would you draw the line at women proposing?
Here's the funny thing, even though a woman rarely gets down on one knee and proposes, they do all of the ground work to ensure that it does happen. Very few women are properly shocked when they get proposed to.
They start dropping the less then subtle hints into almost every conversation, they will point out rings in jewellery shop windows, they will talk about the recent weddings of their best friends, everyone the girl knows will say 'When are two getting married?', bridal magazines will suddenly appear on the coffee table, then the dreaded 'Where is our relationship going?' conversations will appear much more frequently.
It's a bit like launching a ship - the women will build the dockyard, build the ship, buy the bottle of champagne and tie the string around it - your job is be Queen Elizabeth, all you do is show up and make it official.
