Whenever restaurants in Britain try to do "fun" it usually just ends up embarrassing for all involved. We don't believe that eating out should really involved any kind of excitement or joy. We mainly dine out to enjoy whispering to each other about how bad the service is. 
I can actually picture that.

Thanks everybody!! It was a very exciting day. I got 2 sets of pajamas from my kids, cash, a gift card, and a beautiful macaroni necklace from my daughter. Dinner was fantastic and we weren't asked to leave, so I call that a success! I love you all dearly and am so happy to have such great geographically challenged friends.
