Curb Your Enthusiasm - Season 7 Page 3

What the hell are you talking about? I'm not showing off, thousands of people downloads TV shows this way.

There has always been a thread for new Curb (as it airs in the US) on this forum, as there is for other US shows such as 30 Rock, The Office and recently Modern Family and Cougar Town; how do you think people are acquiring those shows?

I realised I shouldn't have posted in the other Curb thread last week, I only did so because I couldn't find a thread for the new season and just assumed that was the latest Curb thread. But I appreciate some are waiting for More4, so to respect that I started a new thread which you don't have to read.

But for those that are watching from HBO, as many do, this is a thread where we can discuss Season 7.

That is all. :)

I think this starts over here next week or something.
Does the series need a new thread for people watching it as it airs in the UK and want to avoid spoilers?

2 offending lines so far ... nothing more.

There is another Curb Your Enthusiasm thread where you can avoid spoilers. https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/49

:)

Just watched the first 2 episodes. Excellent as always!

"I've got 24-hour Larry. You think I like it?" :D

I really don't particularly mind, but If they did similar threads to this for every show from the USA then it would be unfortunate for those who like to watch these shows legally or when they air in the UK.

For example I don't want the next series of LOST spoilt for me before I get a chance to watch it, but I may like to talk about the series before it airs if there is a thread specifically for it.

Can't the title of this thread warn members of the BRITISH comedy guide that it may contain spoilers.
Or perhaps there could be a single thread for those who want to talk about shows they have 'acquired', or watched in America and are due to premier in the Uk at a later date.

As I say it doesn't bother me personally in this instance, but I could see why
People could or would be annoyed with this sort of thing.

Red text for spoiler?

I can't edit the thread title. Maybe Aaron could sort it out? Perhaps put (US Pace) after the title. I can't say we've ever had a problem before though. As I say there are threads discussing other current US comedies that are yet to air here such as The Office and Modern Family and Cougar Town. Downloading shows is just more convenient for some people, thousands do it, many of them people on this forum and we like to discuss what we've watched.

You can open up another Curb thread if you like with (More4 Pace) after the title, then those that are watching via More4 can stick to that thread and avoid spoilers.

:D Nice 3rd episode. Great to see them back, fatter and wrinklier.

Yes I've watched things online myself. and I think putting US pace or possible spoilers at least until the series has aired over here might be an idea, but it would probably mean more threads then they would care for.
I think people are usually quite considerate about spoiling plots from things like the US office before they air here, but I could be wrong about that so I'll be careful when browsing.
I'd quite like to chat about the new series of Curb your enthusiasm myself, but won't be watching any epsiodes before they legally air over here, so I'll stuick to the general non series specific thread as you suggested, or just wait until the series finishes, or not bother and just watch it.

Still now that I know there going to have a Seinfeld story arc in the series, I'm looking forward to it even more.
See spoilers can be good too.
:D

I'm quite surprised you managed to avoid the Seinfeld-arc spoilers! That's the big thing they've been promoting this season with; on adverts, on radio, on websites. :)

I didn't even know they were doing a seventh series until I saw this thread.
Which was handy, I missed a few of the sixth series as I didn't realise that was on at the time either.
But I'm a member of the BCG these days, so I shouldn't have that problem in future.

My Mum asked me if I watch Curb Your Enthusiasm, and asked if it was any good because she's seen it advertised and thought it looked good.

:D My Mum's cool Cool

We *have* had a problem before, which is why I've avoided looking at this thread so far. I think at the very least posts about shows broadcast elsewhere should be marked up as spoilers until they are broadcast in the UK (it is the BCG after all). It would be ridiculous to have different threads opened for the same series. How is that going to work?

So, now I have that off my chest, I can talk about episode 1. Loved it! Best Curb for ages and really bodes well for the series. I will try to avoid making empty gestures in future.

When is it on?
I've got V+ now I can set it to record the series

Stop showing off SteV+e.
