Having pizza and beer in a tiny sports bar in the middle of nowhere while waiting for the doors to open at the Wilco concert. Country music on the radio and baseball playoffs on the TV. Very Texas.
Just noticed that the bar's footrail is made from wooden baseball bats. Cool.

The opener was Liam Finn (son of Neil Finn of Split Enz and Crowded House) and he played an enjoyable set. He's a funny guy.
Here's a photo of my son and I with the best guitarist on the planet. The beers backstage were free and of high quality. The ones we drank earlier in the evening were overpriced and shit.
