I grew up not having biscuits, crips, etc at home. If we had anything they were devoured in minutes. As a result I have no self control about some foods and couldn't leave a packet of biscuits half eaten in the cupboard. So I never buy biscuits, cakes, packets of crips etc to keep in the cupboard. I might make them occasionally or get them in if someone's coming around, but don't regularly buy junk food.
What are you eating? Page 365

No wonder you're so materialistic now!
I don't get people who only eat a few biscuits and then wrap them back up and put them away.
I get confused when I see other peoples food cupboards and there's biscuits and crisps in there. Are they weird or something?

Which sort-of explains why you've got a couscous surplus, Lee.

Exactly. Like those people who have all those Easter eggs in their cupboard in June. I would have just gorged myself on them in one go.

Six of us in a one-bed flat, no bathroom, not many toys, no birthday parties.... I used to be able to rough it still for years, but then when I turned about 30 I started to only like nice things and a bit of luxury. Still if I go proper camping I do the full bit; camo gear, washing in streams, catching rabbits....

Mmmm couscous surplus.

What do you mean? That you would eat 20 biscuits in one go???

I always end up eating the whole box of Jaffa Cakes whenever I buy some. Mmm. Jaffa cakes.

That is excessive. I could eat eight or nine in one go. Any more's greed.

I would. Or over a few hours.

Well, I don't buy a 20 biscuits per packet very often. But I wouldn't have much trouble finishing off a packet of HobNobs for example. If not, half one day, half the next.
I regret it of course, but I'll never learn.
It's very rare biscuits last longer than 2 days after shopping for them.
I only have about 3 before I'm sick of them.
I should be skinny! Why aren't I! Dammit.

How tall are you? And what do you weigh? Are you genuinely overweight, or are you one of these girls that complains she is but is fine?
Oh, yeah. I get sick of sweet stuff pretty darn fast. I can't eat more than one slice of cake without feeling but for some reason I can consume biscuits like a biscuit-bastard.
