eh?

A wonderful array of accents.
A lot of great humour.
Fish 'n' chips. The most tasty we found were in Blackpool.

This thread makes me all nostalgic for Blighty.

Oh, and Coronation St. Fancy forgetting that!

I have an uncle from New Zealand and I saw pictures of where he lived. I definitely wouldn't miss blighty if I lived there!

It's being so close to the action.
Everything on your doorstep.
Plenty to see and do.

If you like the outdoors, this country is fine. And I certainly love coming home after being away, but if I had plenty of dosh, I think I could quite happily live over there.

And have a holiday home in, France. Ohhhhh, I think I will buy a Lotto ticket this weekend.
:)

:D

Fingers crossed!

If you win can you give your old unwanted NZ home to me please :D

That the first face rubby thing I've got here. It's like two cats, isn't it?

It took me a while to work out that the "horrible one" is an emoticon for "pussy eater".

We do chocolate better than anyone though.

No you don't.
Ours is much better. In fact, it is infinitely better than any other chocolate.

I'm surprised noone has even mentioned beer?

The chemical composition of zinc: zinc. Elementary, old boy.

You can't compare a shitty Hershey bar to a real chocolate bar. There are plenty of good American chocolate manufacturers.

I was trying to think of a random word with a Z or an X in it and failed :(

I do love reese pieces though aren't they hersheys?

I remember trying a lot of choclate when I went to America found it hit and miss but these were all huge brands not smaller companies.

I do like American veggies, your tomatoes are bigger than my head.

Look I'm sorry Swiss, Columbian and even French. But Latvian chocolate? Isn't your fruit and nut made up of beets and rivets from exSoviet nuclear subs?

Being rude. We English excel at creative mean spirited insults.

Take the English Defence League's "Allah who the f**k is Allah?"

Absolute genius.

Chocolate is like any other thing, completely subjective. It doesn't matter what the connoisseurs tell you, if you happen to prefer Cadburys, then that's the best.

It's all a matter of taste, just like comedy, and it's even OK to like Michael McIntyre, if you happen to relish a melted Smartie in your pocket.
