Could you imagine what television would be like in a world without men?

It would be nothing but constant soap operas, reality shows, people having a dance, cooking, make overs and celebrity obsessed clap trap.

Sorry, forgotten my point now.

No it wouldn't. It would be Sharpe 24/7.

I prefer motorsport, comedy, documentaries and loads of other stuff. I do like a bit of costume drama if well done but don't watch soaps, cookery, embroidery or whatever else you men think we ladies like to watch.

It's not what we think you like to watch - the schedule is determined by women for women. All you have to do is look at the prime time television listings, there's nothing on there for blokes. :(

In my male dominated household there seems to be non stop Top Gear, Pimp My Ride, Police Camera Action and much more male orientated stuff on all day.

You must have cable then, because the BBC / ITV / Channel 4 is dominated by cooking, dancing, soaps and reality bollox.

Thank God for cable / satellitte / freeview.

I have freeview.

I have freeview.

Me too. I'll be honest, most of the good stuff I watch is on DVD.

Are we sure it's not determined by men (like you) who THINK that's what women love?/think that's all they can handle?

I have no idea either way, but it's a possibility.
