And he (Superman) works for the man. He's just a civil servant.

I thought he was a journalist? And where does Bruce Wayne's wealth come from?

I like that big fat cushion he wears around his neck.

Huh? Eh?

Clark Kent is a journalist, Superman is a civil servant. Both are dull.

And where does Bruce Wayne's wealth come from?

His dead parents, and the company his father owned. Wayne Industries.

Yeah that's a point. He was only able to establish himself because of wealth. Batman couldn't have existed without all the benefits of a capitalist/aristocratic/disproportionately balanced and unfair society.
Had Mr Wayne's parents been local butchers or binmen, his crime-fighting outfit would've looked something more like the Del and Rodney version.

Practising fighting combos is always easier when not constrained by fabric. Errr

And his massive brain, he's the worlds greatest detective. As well as not actually being real. :D

Huh? Eh?

I'm thinking of George "Wears a third testicle under his chin" Lucas! I'm always confusing you two!

Holmes is worlds greatest detective surely. He is also not real. :)

Maybe there should be a team-up series?

Holmes is also in the past though, where as Batman is supposed to be around now.

Batman is supposed to be around now.

Although Batman always feels very noir.

This is a truely sad, geeky little discussion, isn't it? :D

Oooh, get Guy Ritchie on the phone!

As opposed to what? This is the BCG. Home of sad, geeky discussions.

As opposed to all the other ones today, which have been far more edifying!
