I am, at least till I have more testing done, cancer-free, working my way out of a bad marriage, finally writing the kind of stuff I enjoy and am hopefully good at, being the best mom I can be to the 3 most zany wonderful kids anyone could want, my shitty car is running less shittily, and my hair has grown to a length which is manageable. Yes, I'm lucky.

Glad to hear this :)

Yep, doing lots of benefit walks this month. Still feels weird being one of the younger ones though.

There was a story in the press here about a cancer charity here phoning up a woman to ask her for money. When she told them she had raised money for the cause because she had breast cancer herself the person on the end of the phone said that that was great. She complained. I'm not really sure what that says about whom.... :)

Maybe people PM you because they actually care about you and don't want to make you look like a victim,

I think they just agreed with what I was saying and told me not to bother arguing with people. :)

That still sounds like a made up job! :D

'Still'?! Did we speak about this at the meet? (It's actually really dull after a week or so but shh - this is supposed to be a positive thread)

Nah, it sounds like a laugh. I bet the kids love you. :)

You may have mentioned it once or thrice. :D

I personally PMed you the other week because I was concerned and worried about you because you seemed upset by comments made and the lack of support you felt you were getting. I didn't do it out of some personal shame to be seen speaking to you and I certainly object to being refered to as cliquey which I assume you are throwing me into the mix as I foolishly PMed you out of concern and you haven't said otherwise. I am personally hurt by your comment and as far as PMing you is concerned, you don't have to worry anymore from me personally I won't be doing that again. I am so disapointed in you Dolly, I thought you were a nice person.

That's sad. :( I wasn't referring to you at all.

Not everyone does.

It's not just me Dolly. You have been making out no one cares about you and when they just and show you some support, you pay it back with such a stupid and rude comment. We are your friends Dolly, don't attack us just for trying to support you.

It's the kids that make it fun actually so it should be really good over Christmas time. I'll be demonstrating flitter fairies - check out the cheesy video

I don't think it's stupid and rude at all. I have never personally attacked you at all. :( But there is a sort of 'in crowd' that not everyone belongs to and that's a fact.

Well, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I've had some lovely PMs and some downright nasty PMs - but they're private so I never bring them up on the public forum.

At the end of the day, this is a lively and free thinking forum and not everyone is going to agree with everyone else.

As for Lime5000, he was never my cup of tea as he wasn't that funny. At least Don Rushmore and Morrace's posts have made me laugh - and they're a couple of cruel buggers. Plus Lime5000 should really have started a separate thread announcing he was leaving and how we were all a bunch of c**ts - that is the done thing I believe.

Anyway, I feel lucky I found this forum as it makes me laugh every single day.

Okay.

*leaves quietly*

I've never had a nasty one, you'd think with all the 'discussions' I've been involved with in the past I'd have earned a few. :(
