Actually, in fairness, of all the forums I've been a member of in the past, this one is by far the least 'cliquey'.
Everything I have that's worth having (not material things) I had to work for. 
I don't have dark facial or body hair.
I managed to do well in exams and had a brilliant social life.
I have a child who thinks I'm the most amazing person in the world (don't know how long that will last!)
I'm physically fit and healthy.

I never felt that, even when I was new. Posts get ignored whoever you are, just that some are missed or no-one genuinely knows what to say back. It's easy to take that personally.
