Commenting on the Victoria line being out of commission last weekend and my need to travel from Walthamstow to Brixton, one end to the other, I remarked that I was "f**ked from both ends".

I think the 'Slip' is your subconscious substituting a word.

Are we seriously going to argue about the use of the term "Freudian slip?". I actually meant it in a jokey way because I was under some mad impression this was a COMEDY FORUM.
