My great news is that I've finally signed my first proper grown-up writer's contract for a sitcom today.
(I may even get around to actually reading it at some point. It's a big document.)

Well, we'll see. A great company to be working with, btw. We were hoping to have had the pilot on air by this autumn, but things never go that smoothly, do they? One source of hope is that there were 3 other well-known companies interested in this show. Most importantly, I finally get paid for my hard work. Speaking of which, I've a new script to finish this week. Cheers, guys.
Nah actually f**k it...keep it down.
Fair enough, 'nuff said.

Yeah, work which leads to more work, followed by more work leading to even more work then ending in death by overworking. Great.
Congrats again, Tim!

I've had a piece of great news of my own - hence the thread.
I've had a letter from Jhio-Si Lang .../
Does she also do stand up?

Better than dying of obscurity, failure and arse fat.

There there, I'm sure on this rather bland minimalist film set you'll find all the answers...
Congrats Tim on being official!
