So did you find it fun Mike T?

Which was your favourite Torres goal? That's right. None of them, because Liverpool lost. 2-0.

:D

lol I was hoping for a draw or liverpool win so utd could stay top but you know. torres is an over rated, whining c**t =/

october 25th utd vs liverpool should be fun..

Er, yeah - United will be smarting so I can see a similar but reverse scoreline which, if already unlikely, will kill off Liverpool's title hopes. Four defeats by the end of October? Jeez. Angry

If I hated United as much as you I wouldn't have watched them anyway.

Because it's so good to see them lose. I love it more than seeing Chelsea win.

Torres is class - and Gerard's not bad either. The trouble is that's all they've got.

You'd die to have either one of them in your team because basically you've got no out and out class players anymore. Just players who keep battling and won't give up which isn't a bad thing. But we can still hope.

It was nice to watch the Gooners put on one of our exhibition football-type displays today, where we basically gave (a very unambitious) Blackburn two early goes at the lead in order to make it slightly more interesting.

A 6-2 display at home like this unfortunately means f**k-all in terms of where we'll be at the end of the season, however Fabregas was simply pure class today and man-of-the-match by a mile. He really is shaping up to eventually become the best centre midfielder in Europe soon(ish).

Arsenal will bully rubbish teams all season long but when it comes to the top 4 (i include Manchester City) they just don't have it. Must agree Fabregas is top quality though, aswell as Arshavin.

Now, why is it when you all talk sports it sounds okay, but when American men talk about it they all sound like a bunch of twits?

Oh, I think I answered my own question...

Our local team did terrible today playing our stupid football and everyone is talking nonsense.

We'll see, we historically get better throughout the season and this year the squad don't seem to have the distractions of internal disputes - the players having left. To be fair we didn't put on bad performances at either Man Utd or Man City. Vermaelen is a brilliant buy as well and also has a sweet left foot on him as well, as we saw today. Still think we'll end up top 4 this year. I actually see Liverpool as the team that will struggle to stay up there.

but youd die to have any one of our starting 11. your desperate for a striker, a xabi alonso type mid and a defender.

btw rooney, berb, giggs, fletcher, ferdinand, vidic, evans, macheda, gibson etc are class :)

At least they're not talking about baseball. I went to a game once when I was in New York years ago. My God what a boring game that is. (And I speak as a cricket fan!)

Yes, Fabregas was unbelievably good. Considering they had four full-backs in defence one would have thought they might done slightly better at protecting the left side where most goals came from.

Very happy to see Rosícky back, another excellent creative player who I think we've sorely missed in past seasons, and Walcott. And Vermaelen is scoring luvverly goals.

Still worried about the defence when scoring's not so easy and they're all attacking. At least the goal difference is looking good in case of a tight season finish.

I agree Liverpool have lost more in the first few games than the whole of last season, Vermaelan is definitly the seasons best buy he just seems to get on with it without any fuss and scores like a striker to go with it, unlike Adebayor who is the single most greedy, selfish and arrogant player in Europe. Apart from El Hadj Diouf obviously

Agree about Liverpool. Defence seems a bit weak, as far as I've seen Gerrard, Torres and maybe Benayoun have provided class, and unless Aquilani makes a storming start when he's fit they seem slightly lacking overall.

One thing seems really positive, that it's shaping-up to be a really interesting season, with probably a lot of twists and turns along the way. May well go down to the final week this year. Apologies to Man Utd & Chelsea fans, but it would be good for the game as a whole if someone else wins the title this season. :)
