Yes, a heirarchical league system would be the fairest way to go. Why o why should the most advanced member nation in the EU be as open to the influx of citizens from the least advanced member nation as the best? It is totally wrong and logic states that all the citizens from the hardest up one will want to flock to the most profitable and comfortable one. This is already happening, as we in Britain know! And there is no way that Poland would currently qualify to be in that premier league!
So is Labour really washed out? Page 6

Yes, each woman individually, seeing as we don't think en masse with one communal brain, and each want different things.
You see how difficult you lot are!
Don't knock Poland they're more centralised banks did much better in the crunch than ours. Not to mention they're skilled, educated, bilingual workforce.
As it is the EU did seem to go mental for pinching states from the old USSR. Though the immigration issues are more about disparity in wealth.
At some time if we want to stay a 100 times richer than other countries and keep them off our island. We are going to have start sinking boats and machine gunning French camps.

We men don't need to decide what we want. We have a secret union of men we all belong to.

Cool. If Paris counts as a "French camp", I'm all for it.
I saw Cameron on Andrew Marr this morning being asked which powers from Europe (a pet Tory obsession) he would like to repatriate?
Unlike others questions he was asked he answered this one as quick as a flash- "employment and labour legisaltion."
That just about sums everything you need to know about the Tories; Over 50 years sonce Anuerin Bevan first made the observation, they're still lower than vermin.
The only thing that gives me hope is that man is not PM material.
Who is then?

Watching the Labour Party conference last week I struck with how, despite the spin and the attempts of the higher echelons to make them seem presentable, their activists are still a bunch of sad, embittered losers. Charmless, mannerless, living in the hope of a revolution that will never come. Many of them still not able to admit that the Soviet Union wasn't a tragic example of what happens when socialism is properly implemented. They yearn for the state to control everything, yet haven't the wit or intelligence to know why or how this should be done. They can't even dress properly, wandering around the conference like a bunch of Albanian town-mayoral candidates. True Labourites pretty much hate themselves and everyone else. They need more politics and more government because they haven't the personal resources to survive in the real world.
In other words, David Cameron for new PM
I'm more worried already about the new leader of the opposition - all recent form and voting patterns point towards that ******* Harman woman. What is that pseudo science that believes in the destinal power of names called? Anyway I think they may have something here - Harman = Harm man ...! Harriet - Harry = to aggressively charge at and disperse; to harrangue and harris - OE. et = and - Latin. So Harriet Harman = Aggressively harris and harm men...!!! We're done for.
She's mad as a French window. Will never be anything more than a token Labour interim leader at most. May well get taken down a peg or two by the newly-breaking news of her road accident...
Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ October 4 2009, 10:56 AM BSTVery odd goings on indeed. What is the point of having a referendum if the result is not binding the first time? If the result on the first one had been 'Yes' then do you think they would have got a second go at it then?
No, because that would have been the right answer.
Quote: sootyj @ October 4 2009, 11:58 AM BSTPerhaps it should break up and we form a more innocent richy rich gang with the other Euro super states. More like ASEAN or NAFTA. Germany, France, Poland, Netherlands, Italy etc. No more moralising or law writing just greed is good. And ya boo sucks to Rumania and all the other gypsy ridden wanna be's.
I agree.

Plus all legal powers and human rights.

I wouldn't worry. If she gets in they'll be even less electable for another generation.

It's just, the best story ever.
"I'm Harriet Harman - you know where you can get me..."
This has to be the quote of the year so far.
The woman has a gift for getting off things so I wouldn't count on this even scratching her. Next few days will be interesting though - parhaps another holiday due for her?

Sounds (and even looks a bit) like:
The question shouldn't be if Labour is really washed out, but that once they go...Who's next?
