Three slices is nothing to worry about!

It's three pizzas that you need to be worried about.

My Mum had one she was only 58. She had some trouble sleeping at night because she had to keep it straight.

She kept walking in the early days trying to get to the next lampost.

She is now doing brill and you would never know she had it done.

That's good to hear, Bigfella. Glad she's doing great - how long ago was it?

My Mum's not even that age yet, but it was dislocated at birth and undiscovered for a few years so never had full movement. But hopefully some restored now.

Going on people I've seen who've had it, it seems a very successful procedure now.

I've read that it's a very unhealthy body shape.

Was it a "What Body Shape are You" type-thing?

It's so round! Like a spacehopper.

About two years.

She does everything again now. Before she was in tears just sitting on the sofa :(

My father had his knee replaced about 2 years ago at age 70. His doctor laid it out like so:

1) Don't get the operation until you're ready. You'll know you're ready when the pain drives you crazy all day.

2) For the first 2 weeks you'll hate me for doing this to you and wonder why you let me talk you into it.

3) The next month you'll still be angry because your knee hurts more than it did before the operation.

4) The following month the pain will be about the same as before the surgery.

5) The next month it'll hurt less than it did before surgery. Success!

6) After 6 months you'll be good as new and kick yourself for waiting so long to have the surgery.

Knee replacements are typically more painful than hips.

Just called the cops again on the neighbours. If they show up, that will be twice in less than 24 hours.

It wouldn't be so bad, but these guys have a baby with serious health issues and I know it's neglected.

Thank you so very much for all your kind messages. You have no idea how touched I am. <3

Aren't there social workers involved with them or something? What with all the frequent drunken arguments and everything?

Yeah, I'm sure there is. Cops just showed up again. Great. The house next to me seems to be cursed.

She died on the way to the emergency vet. She must have known it was something more than a stomach infection because the last thing she did was ask me for a cuddle. The vet said she didn't suffer and we couldn't have known a thing.

It's cold enough to wear a jumper. I am listening to music and thinking about Christmas. I miss Robyn and want to do everything for her. The insides of my palms are particularly cold. I'm missing friends who are leaving, but at the same time I'm already excited about their return. I can smell chutney being cooked downstairs and I'm not hungry, but I want to taste it. It is dark, dark, dark outside and the light bulb's reflected on the window.

That is my entire status right... now.

Just some news on my doggy Molly who I talked about a lot on here. Sadly, Molly passed away this morning. It was very sudden and out of the blue but she didn't suffer.

Quite clearly I shall be a snot factory for the next three days so apologies in advance.

Just heard about this. I'm so sorry. Console

I thought Amityville was on Long Island?

Sorry to hear about the poor doggy Teary
