Status report Page 1,244

It's cold enough to wear a jumper. I am listening to music and thinking about Christmas. I miss Robyn and want to do everything for her. The insides of my palms are particularly cold. I'm missing friends who are leaving, but at the same time I'm already excited about their return. I can smell chutney being cooked downstairs and I'm not hungry, but I want to taste it. It is dark, dark, dark outside and the light bulb's reflected on the window.

That is my entire status right... now.

You'll cherish these moments when you're in your 30s, Elliot... ;)

I don't know if that was sarcastic or not but I genuinely cherish them now, so. :D

It was genuine. :)

Rob0 is relieved his mum's hip replacement operation went OK.

My Mum had one of those recently.
Make sure she starts doing gentle exercise like walking as soon as she can.
(but takes it easy of course)

Good to hear that Rob! Did the self-absorbed thing where I didn't read the post above mine before I posted. Sorry! >_<

Black Licorice

Image
Hate or Love it?
It's definitely not a Canadian thing. Besides myself, my Dutch grandfather and my Dutch father and the people who also shop at the Dutch Grocery store down the road I don't know anyone who also like Black Licorice.

Do you guys appreciate its taste?
I type all this as I happily chew on a Darrell Lea piece of the black stuff.

Licorice is evil.

It scares me to think I've probably made more roast dinners than any of you have ever ate.

I hate the things, so can guarantee that that is the case. :)

There was a bit of a chill in the air today, actually!

Mmmmm. Lovely. Was a nice chill and very windy today. Ace.

I had a very frustrating shopping trip with my elderly mother and child. My tongue was so bitten it's now very sore.

Quote: Finck @ October 1 2009, 10:09 PM BST

Showed me pics of his erected penis on his phone.

Aw, Finck has all the fun.

(erect*)

You could always send some to yourself?

(or to me.)

Whenever Mrs B and daughter go shopping it ends in world war three!

What is it with mothers and daughters?
