Peep Show - Series 6 Page 29

Looking forward to tonight's show. Oh yes!

Brilliant episode. :D

Just what I was going to say.

Loved it. So many good lines tonight. :D

I think I saw Blackwell's name flash up at the end, as opposed to Bain and Armstrong. Anyway, another great episode.

And their script editor, Robert Popper, in a cameo tonight.

Hope Super Hans and/or Johnson pop up again soon though.

I actually assumed he was going to be some sort of test, to see how Mark would handle him.

Much as I love Super Hans and Johnson, I thought it was important to have an episode mid-series really just devoted to Mark and Jeremy. It cemented where they currently are in their lives/minds after the upheavals in episodes 1 and 2.

Even though I could see the end, ahem, coming a mile off I was genuinely crying with laughter. Can't remember the last time that happened.

Comedy like this makes staying in on a Friday night worthwhile :D

'You beautiful shithead.' :D

'Pastos and Oldendaysers'

I'm still trying to get caught up on these and our local store that carries foreign TV still doesn't have it...but they did have 15 copies of series 2 of Jam and Jerusalem...why?

I have loved what I've been able to see of Series 6 so far. I laugh til my face hurts at times.

A good episode tonight but not great, especially considering the laugh fest that was last week's outing.

Maybe I'm just picking nits, but the level of 'outrageousness' seems to have dropped considerably. In previous shows they ran over a dog, set fire to it and then ate it in front of it's owners. Admitting you like porn seems a bit tame in comparison.

Something seems to be missing - it might be that Mark and Jeremy getting along instead of being constantly at odds is jarring to me or maybe it's Jezza not getting into his usual ill thought out scrapes and all of Mark's hopes and dreams being dashed but something is definitely bugging me about this new series.

Still wonderfully written and acted and still my favourite sitcom at the moment, so perhaps I'm being overly critical.

It was a nice demonstration that even now Jeremy is genuinely trying to be unselfish and a good friend, he still f**ks things up. Rob Webb's performance tonight was outstanding all the way through. And I've never heard the words "wank" or "wanking" delivered so as to make me laugh that much.

Not as funny as episode 2, but still cracking stuff, and a good few laughs from me.

I've always quite fancied being a historical tour guide. :(

Good episode though. I still find it a bit off-putting one of the cast being someone I know from elsewhere, but still very good.
