Sorry, I may have missed something here - people who aren't particularly religious and get married in a church in front of a God they don't believe in is totally legit? Doesn't that make a mockery of what they're doing?
And what about when a couple of your gay friends get wed? Isn't that too a mockery? What if your gay or straight friends dress up in 'silly' costumes to get married? What if the bride doesn't wear a white dress? Is that a mockery?
As long as the marriage is recognised under the law as a union, does it matter how people get wed?
