If you're suggesting it's not an "absolute" sin under those previous religions, then you can really look at Christianity as an example of on in which it is. Murder is forgiveable in Christianity.
Death or life imprisonment is a pretty f**king big stick imho.
And the sooner we get rid of that foundation of superstitious bs, the better.
You seem to just be preaching intolerance for the beliefs of others, whilst somehow demanding special dispensation for atheism.
At least be consistent and honest by laying into the theological and practical faults of other religions, such as Islam.
What persecution are you suffering at the hands of Christians, Kevin? You live in a country with a very clear separation between church and state. A secular liberal democracy. Anyone imposes their religious beliefs on you and I would be outraged on your behalf.
