This is my favourite corrie moment ever. It's it's thirteen month anniversary today.
It helps if you know the storyline but even without it it's still brilliant.

Does Kevin have a moustache at the moment or not?
I don't know. I'll have to find out which of my cousins is his look-alike at the moment.
Quote: Morrace @ October 1 2009, 10:57 PM BSTNot good enough, Moonstone - too obvious. Try harder - something like:
"Corrie is ok, I suppose but EastEnders has far better storylines and the acting is superior."
Get the idea?
But Corry isn't ok. It's depressing.
All soaps are depressing but surely you have to admit it is easily the funniest and best written.

Those two could solve so many of the worlds problems

More so than EastEnders?
I wasted my 3000th post on EastBloodyEnders!

Coronation Street does comedy so much better than Eastenders.
I was replying to a 3000th post by the way.

Correction, Steve. Coronation Street does comedy.

I don't think I've ever even seen comedy in EastEnders! Unless you count Babs's hairdo.

Nice one Moonstone!
I think the only episode of Coronation Street I've ever seen (other than my vague childhood memories of Hilda & Stan) was the one with Peter Kay guest-starring in it.
It was shit.
Corrie at its best has the funniest scripts in telly. Though I haven't watched it properly in ages, even on the odd dip in over the last couple of years it still has its moments. Writers like John Stevenson and Julian Roach, and H V Kershaw, have written great stuff. No surprise that great comedy like Brass came out of Corrie.
Sorry, off topic.
Back on topic, there is every chance this is ( a) Le Vell looking for an out, as said by Perry; (b) the Corrie press office making something up (with the agreement of the stars) to help win the competitive soap ratings war; or (c) a soap star being a twat. My money is on B.
By the way, the thread title is wrong. No wonder people get confused.
