School Of Comedy

I see that School Of Comedy starts on E4 tonight at 10pm. I shall be watching.

I have to say, though, I still don't get the whole 'using kids' angle. The content of the pilot show didn't have any relevance to children, so why use them? It smacks far too much of being a gimmick to me.

Anyway, as I say, I'll be watching tonight as a couple of things from the pilot tickled me and hopefully the talented Tom Worsley will have something on it.

Note to glorious moderators: There is currently a Comedy Lab thread for this show, but that was merely for the pilot. I hope this one is ok.

Cool, I enjoyed the pilot.

Tom Worsley

Is that one of our members' real name?

Yes.

I keep seeing it on VirginOD but the kids thing is putting me off. I watched a few clips online and they didn't exactly draw me in either.

What I've seen I liked. And some sketches stood out as veryyyy funny.

Will Poulter FTW! The kid is really talented.

Yeah, I love him. :)
Think he/the show might be like Marmite, though.

Mmm Marmite...

Why does the really talented one remind of a young Tim Walker?

Don't know if it's been mentioned but he was fantastic in Son of Rambow, great little movie.

Enjoying the show too.

They're all pretty good at accents aren't they?

Yes, fantastic film. He was very good in it.

I liked the plant/shadow one. It made me bark like a dog.

I don't really like the child novelty thing. I prefer the natural kids in Outnumbered.

And I hate to say this about a child, but the old man face boy is just irritating.

I remember the 'old fashioned room' from the pilot. Good idea.

Did seefacts work on this?
